Bringing a puppy home is an exciting stage, but it is also full of questions and small daily challenges. Our one-month Starter program is the perfect introduction to the world of canine education. It is designed for owners who want to take their first firm steps, learn about our working methodology, and, above all, learn how to communicate correctly with their new companion before bad habits develop.

¿CUÁL ES EL OBJETIVO DE ESTE CURSO?

En este nivel inicial el enfoque no es el adiestramiento formal ni la enseñanza de comandos, sino construir los cimientos para que tu cachorro comience a prestarte atención y a escucharte genuinamente. Nos dedicamos a enseñarte a ti, como tutor, los fundamentos para entender la psicología de tu perro, satisfacer sus necesidades básicas de manera saludable y establecer reglas de convivencia claras, justas y sin estrés. Es el primer gran paso para construir una relación de confianza.

WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THIS COURSE?

In this initial level, the focus is not on formal training or teaching commands, but rather on building the foundations so that your puppy begins to pay attention and genuinely listen to you. We focus on teaching you, as the owner/handler, the fundamentals of understanding your dog's psychology, meeting their basic needs in a healthy way, and establishing clear, fair, and stress-free rules for living together. It is the first major step toward building a relationship of trust.

  • The ABCs of Communication: How to understand what your puppy is trying to tell you and how to convey clear messages to avoid mutual frustration.
  • Environment and Routine Management: We will provide you with the guidelines and tools to properly start processes that require time and maturity, such as housebreaking (potty training). Additionally, we will apply strategies to manage natural nipping/biting, jumping, and the correct redirection of their energy.
  • Problem Prevention: We address typical puppy behaviors today to prevent them from becoming behavioral problems tomorrow.
  • Owner Education: We provide you with the necessary technique and mindset to become the best guide for your dog.

  • Duración: 1 Mes (Nivel Starter).

When a dog over 8 months old presents behavioral problems, the real solution requires time, patience, and deep structure. Our 1-month Starter program is strictly a preparatory course.

The first step to regaining peace and transforming your dog's behavior.

¿Pasear a tu perro se ha convertido en una situación de riesgo por sus reacciones? ¿Sufre de episodios de agresividad? Vivir en este estado de alerta es agotador para ti y sumamente peligroso para el entorno.

Este programa es el inicio formal de su modificación conductual. Está diseñado para intervenir de inmediato en problemas de agresividad moderados, o bien, para funcionar como la fase inicial de contención, diagnóstico conductual y rehabilitación en casos medios a graves.

Nota importante: Para garantizar el éxito de este programa, el perro debe pasar por una evaluación previa. Es fundamental manejar expectativas realistas: si tu ejemplar presenta un historial de ataques graves o mordidas, el programa de modificación mínimo recomendado para lograr una convivencia segura es de 6 meses continuos, lo que implica completar esta especialidad hasta el Nivel III.

Objetivo de este programa: El propósito central en este primer bimestre es frenar el deterioro de la conducta, establecer un entorno de manejo seguro y comenzar a modificar su respuesta ante aquello que detona su agresividad. No buscaremos obediencia estricta aún; primero necesitamos contener el problema y lograr que su mente esté equilibrada y receptiva.

Has walking your dog become a high-risk situation due to their reactions? Do they suffer from episodes of aggression? Living in this constant state of alert is exhausting for you and extremely dangerous for the environment.

This program is the formal start of their behavioral modification. It is designed to intervene immediately in moderate aggression problems, or to serve as the initial phase of containment, behavioral diagnosis, and rehabilitation in medium to severe cases.

Important Note: To ensure the success of this program, the dog must undergo a prior assessment. It is crucial to manage realistic expectations: if your dog has a history of severe attacks or bites, the minimum recommended modification program to achieve safe coexistence is 6 continuous months, which implies completing this specialty up to Level III

WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THIS PROGRAM? The central purpose in these first two months is to stop the deterioration of the behavior, establish a safe management environment, and begin modifying their response to whatever triggers their aggression. We will not seek strict obedience yet; first, we need to contain the problem and get their mind balanced and receptive.

  • Corrección de la conducta: Más allá de solo prevenir o evitar los detonantes, comenzaremos el trabajo activo en la corrección de la conducta agresiva por sí misma. Intervendremos de forma estructurada para modificar directamente sus reacciones ante los estímulos problemáticos.

  • Basic Safety Guidelines: We will establish rigorous protocols for the safe handling of your dog, specifically addressing their behavioral profile, whether it is Intraspecific aggression (towards their own species) or Interspecific aggression (towards humans).
  • Basic Safety Guidelines: We will introduce the muzzle not as a punishment, but as a fundamental safety tool. We will carry out a gradual desensitization process so the dog associates it with pleasant stimuli and learns to wear it completely calmly and without stress.
  • Technical Leash Handling: You will learn the correct holding and guiding techniques to avoid transmitting tension—which often triggers or worsens attacks—guaranteeing your absolute physical control in any scenario.
  • Behavior Correction: Beyond just preventing or avoiding triggers, we will begin active work on correcting the aggressive behavior itself. We will intervene in a structured way to directly modify their reactions to problematic stimuli.
La Metodología y Estructura del Programa:
  • Duración: 2 Meses (1 clase por semana).

El siguiente paso en su proceso:

Al terminar este bimestre, evaluaremos de forma técnica la evolución del comportamiento. En su reporte final, si la gravedad del caso lo requiere, se dejará por escrito la recomendación profesional de avanzar a los Niveles II o III. Si el problema se ha resuelto por completo, el perro recibirá su Alta Conductual y estará libre para ingresar a nuestra ruta de educación formal (Trouble Maker Plus Obedience).
